I don't know why the rebel corvettes in this series are just to be destroyed, they don't even fire at the enemy, they get close and destroyed, it's rare to see these corvettes firing, and the rebel pilots, if they aren't main characters are worse than useless.

These droid were effective enough to the point vader used them as a part of his mini army he built to fight back against the Emperor during a brief period where the Emeperor tried to replace him.

This show had so much plot armour

Y- wings were the first used by the rebels, twin laser cannons an ion cannon, missiles. Later torpedoes and bombs, hvy armor hyper drive but slow.

There’s a nice Battlestar Galactica reference in the scene where the tac droid is talking to the gunships in which they reply “BY YOUR COMMAND”, which is in reference to the Cylons response to commands.

Season 1 was so weird. Felt so odd seeing the clones as mindless enemies. Got so use to them being the good guys
